<p>Led by front man <strong>Enik Lin</strong> and featuring former members of the bands <strong>Burning Tree Project</strong> (<strong>Tragic Hero Records</strong>) and <strong>Rock Kills Kid</strong> (<strong>Reprise</strong>), <strong>IAMMEDIC</strong> brings a dance floor soundclash combining electronic and pop elements on their debut EP&#8230; <em>The Tale of Abigail Withers</em>, out this week via <strong>Authentik Artists</strong>, was co-produced by Lin along with writer/producers <strong>Ian Kirkpatrick</strong> (<strong>Neon Trees</strong>, <strong>Plain White T’s</strong>, <strong>Call the Cops</strong>) and <strong>Mark Maxwell</strong> (<strong>Boys Like Girls</strong>, <strong>Millionaries</strong>, <strong>Blake Lewis</strong>, <strong>Cobra Starship</strong>), with veteran producer/engineer <strong>Mark Needham</strong> (<strong>Metro Station</strong>, <strong>Mayday Parade</strong>, <strong>Sick Puppies</strong>) pulling mix duties. IAMMEDIC also recently lent their remixing skills to <strong>Cherry Tree Records</strong>/<strong>Interscope</strong> artist <strong>Far East Movement</strong> on the band’s single “Like a G6,” which will be included on their upcoming album. BMG Rights Management is the entity formed by the financial firm <strong>KKR and Bertelsman</strong>n.  Both industry veterans, Backer has had success in the label and publishing arenas (<strong>EMI Pub</strong>, <strong>V2 Records</strong> and <strong>Epic</strong>) while Caplan&#8217;s impressive A&amp;R resume includes signing <strong>Los Lonely Boys</strong> and <strong>Matisyahu</strong>. Caplan is also the President and Co-Founder of the <strong>Or Music </strong>independent record label&#8230;</p>
