Said Gonna Be A Revival…

Revival Tour @ El Rey Theatre this Saturday, November 7th
The 2nd annual Revival Tour rolls into the El Rey Theatre this Saturday, November 7th. Keeping with its unique genre-defying design, the tour features a diverse group of musicians representing various styles and backgrounds for a night of performances in true revival fashion. This year’s tour includes Chuck Ragan (of Hot Water Music), Jim Ward (of Sparta, Sleepercar), Frank Turner, Joey Cape (of Lagwagon), Jenny Owen Youngs, Audra Mae and many others…
For more details and the full lineup head to www.therevivaltour.com

p.s. – Keep an eye out for alien life forms in the crowd (um also known as agents) to catch tour newbie and SideoneDummy Records artist Audra Mae who continues to win over fans, artists and industry alike. Just recently she was in the studio with the legendary Burt Bacharach and we hear there are more big things on the horizon.
Audra’s new EP Haunt was just released digitally and you can check out her Revival tour blog HERE
10.12.09If Ya Don’t Know, Now Ya Know: Violence to Vegas

Violence to Vegas @ Viper Room tomorrow night (10/13)
Violence to Vegas is the band to get on your bill going through the mid-west, at least that’s true if your name is Avenged Sevenfold, Papa Roach, Buckcherry, Slipknot or Shinedown, to name a few. Spitting their brand of infectious rock venom to a rabid fan-base, the Tulsa, OK natives have supported numerous heavy-hitters. The single “In the Eyes,” off their past release, went to # 59 on the modern rock chart completely independently, and new track “Beautiful Mistake” is getting spins on KATT after winning the station’s specialty band vs. band call-in show, beating out the likes of Metallica, Creed and Green Day. CAA is already on-board for booking. The band plays the Viper Room tomorrow night Tuesday, October 13th @ 8:30PM. Check it: www.myspace.com/violencetovegas

01.30.09… then we were ziggy’s band

Harlacher Joins CAA
Looks like there was some hoochie coochie going on behind the Green Door (we love porn-related puns). Turns out that singer/songwriter Jared Lee had attracted industry reps from Warner Bros., Atlantic Records and Interscope to check him out earlier this week at the Green Door. Super producer Brian Howes was in the crowd as well. Lee is unsigned, but Chrysalis Music snapped him up early for publishing…
Also in the mix is Total Assault managed The Record Life, who’s reportedly been showcasing for the likes of RCA, Interscope and Warner Bros. – the band is playing a sold-out show at The Troubadour tonight…
Finally RM64 would also like to extend a warm west coast welcome to Ryan Harlacher (Avenged Sevenfold, Against Me, Black Tide), who recently relocated to Los Angeles. Suiting up at the Death Star, also known as Creative Artist Agency, Harlacher joins CAA from his former post at The Pinnacle Agency – we know the Force will be with him.
01.27.09Rock We Can Believe In

illScarlett Jan. 28 @ Viper Room
A week into the Obamastration and we’re still feeling the Hope here at RM64 headquarters (or maybe it’s the antihistamines?) anyhow…
BREAKING NEWS in the agency world, as uber-agent Corrie Christopher (Rise Against, Yellowcard, The Spill Canvas, Gaslight Anthem, Billy Talent) leaves her post at The Agency Group to assume VP stripes at Agency For The Performing Arts (APA).
On deck for rock and in our calendars is illScarlett. The group is signed to Sony Music Canada and is playing tonight at L.A.’s Viper Room. These canuck’s first album went Gold in Canada, and word is there’s no publisher in place or a U.S. label partner. Band is on at 7:15pm, so make it a short dinner. For more info, hit up Sony Music’s Greg Boggs at Greg.Boggs@sonymusic.com.
