Making Music with RM64 Artists Record

We recently posted a preview of the RM64 Artists Record that spotlights 7 hand-picked acts to chronicle what it’s really like in the studio, on stage and everywhere in between. Since then the artists have been busy documenting their day-to-day stories in their own words and videos, making for an honest view in the life of musicians aspiring to establish a music career. As we enter the new decade, the Record project is proving to be an excellent insider’s look on getting the artist’s perspective, from rising above the ground-floor, while navigating the current music climate.

RM64 Artists Record features L.A.-based duo All Wrong & the Plans Change, Austin’s folk/rock band The Eastern Sea, Salt Lake City rockers The Devil Whale, NYC-based pop artists The Narrative, Midwest electro-pop-punkers Sweatshirt Weather, Atlanta’s intensely raw The 54 and singer/songwriter/guitar shredder Bud Carroll.

RM64 Artists Record

We’re excited to give you a first-look at RM64 Artists Record, a project created in partnership with Propellerhead, makers of the highly-popular music software Reason. Now with the release of Record, their latest innovative recording product, the company has teamed up with RM 64 to launch a campaign promoting their new software with new talent.

The idea was simple; put together a group of hand-picked emerging artists, provide them with the necessary tools, including Propellerhead software and gear from sponsors KRK, Rode, Line 6 and Novation, and document their recording journey in pictures, videos and words. The campaign imparts a unique and raw perspective following the creative processes of a group of talented individuals from different locations, musical backgrounds, styles and aspirations. We look forward to bringing you special updates and exclusives along the way. You can follow all the action at www.rm64artistsrecord.com.
