Monday Cheers: Sunset Strip Music Fest; Me Talk Pretty VMA Breakout

Hats off to Nic Adler and everyone involved with putting on this years Sunset Strip Music Festival. The street closure from San Vicente to Doheny for the event was a first for the strip, and we haven’t seen the streets filled with so much skin, ink, booze and rock since, well…. the 80’s? And congrats to Me Talk Pretty who won the MTV VMA Best Breakout NYC Artist award. The band performed in front of a packed house Friday night (9/11) at the VMA Pre-Party at The Fillmore @ Irving Plaza.
