UK's Filthy Souls
We gave you the scoop in January and have since been following the story of Amanda Ghost’s appointment as new President of Epic Records. We now hear that Ghost’s new pick for Head of A&R will be fellow Brit and songwriting partner Ian Dench. Formerly a member of EMF whose song “Unbelievable” was a #1 smash in 1991, Dench has also co-written a number of songs with Ghost, including Beyonce’s “Beautiful Liar”. Stay tuned… Keeping with all things blighty, colour us impressed with Manchesters’ The Filthy Souls. The band’s lead singer Dave Green graced us with his presence by stopping by the RM64 office yesterday with guitar in tow and played us some great new songs. Green is currently in L.A., writing, gigging and collaborating for the next two months.
